COACH

Coaching Experience

The summer after my sophomore year in high school I started working summer volleyball camps at my club. I did that for two years and learned so much from other coaches!! I was given many opportunities to run and lead my own courts, as well. I also played a role in planning and leading the summer volleyball camp in my high school for three years. During this past spring I coached many clinics with the SCSU team and coaching staff. Throughout this summer I coached multiple camps with Coach Chad and coached the many summer camps with the SCSU team.

Playing Experience

I have played volleyball since 4th grade. In 8th grade I started playing at M1 Volleyball Club in Bloomington, MN and played there for 4 years. I also started as an outside for my varsity team 9th-12th grade and got the opportunity to lead as a captain for 3 of those years. I graduated high school early last December and early enrolled at SCSU and began practicing and playing with the team, however, this is my first offical fall season with SCSU team. I am currently a DS but have played on both pins and also in the libero position throughout club and high school.

Why I Coach

I coach because I want to make a difference in young girls lives. To me, it truly is more than just volleyball. Sports give girls an opportunity to compete, have fun, learn, get better and build relationships. I want to help girls build confidence and play with joy, all while competing and striving to get even just that 1% better every single day!

Future Plans/Interests

I am majoring in Entrepreneurship. Some day I hope to own my own Christ-centered coffee shop that shares the love of Jesus and gives people community and fellowship.

Current Hobies

I love visiting new coffee shops and restraunts, spending time with family and friends, playing pickleball, trying new recipes, going thrifting and doing crafts.
