I have been an assistant coach at the St. Cloud Technical and Community College. I have been a head coach in Club Volleyball for the last 3 years at various levels. I coached during AVB's fall league at grades 7th/8th, 9th/10th, and 11th/12th. I have experience coaching at ages 11-18 including team play, clinics, and personal lessons.
I started playing volleyball in 4th grade. I played through high school and continued to play at Waldorf University in Iowa. I now participate in leagues around St. Cloud as much as possible.
Why I Coach
I love coaching athletes at all levels. I enjoy helping athletes strive in something that they are passionate about and encouraging them to reach their full potential both on and off of the volleyball court. I love having the opportunity to inspire, empower and influence young athletes. Coaching allows me to impact young women and is so rewarding.
My future plans are to help this program grow. I hope to keep coaching for AVB in years to come. Outside of volleyball, I am happy to continue my education and keep working in the medical field.
I have currently decided to pursue nursing and am currently in an accelerated nursing program. When I am not busy studying, I enjoy playing any sports and hanging out with my family, friends and both my dogs.
