Coaching Experience
I have been coaching club level volleyball for 3 years at various age levels. I have coached personal lessons with athletes ranging from ages 8 to 21 for over 2 years. I have been running camps/clinics and leagues with AVB for over a year. I also had the opportunity a few years ago to assistant coach at the St. Cloud Technical College with another great coach and a great set of girls who made it to Nationals.
Playing Experience
I have been playing volleyball since grade school. I was a three year starter, and a two year captain, on varsity while I was in high school. I then continued my volleyball career at Waldorf University. When I am not coaching, I enjoy still participating in adult leagues in the community.
Why I Coach
I love sharing my passion for the sport with others - both other coaches and the young women we get to work with in our program. I have found that there is always something I can learn from each and every one of my athletes and hope to be able to impact their lives as much as they impact mine.
Future Plans/Interests
I currently work as a nurse on the Medical/Oncology unit at the St. Cloud Hospital and have recently received my training to administer chemotherapy. I plan to continue working towards obtaining my Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certificate. I also look forward to continuing to grow and develop the Acceleration Volleyball program.
Current Hobies
I enjoy playing and coaching volleyball, watching Netflix, and spending time with my family, friends, and dogs.
